Mastervolt Manual knob switch Cat. No. MV-79006006 Weight 1 lbs | $48.00 |
Mastervolt supplies high current battery switches that can be used for
switching off the battery negative pole or to distribute the charge
current over several batteries manually. In this way the batteries are
charged one by one under your guidance.
This maintenance-free manual switch, made of polycarbonate material
with heavy duty metal contacts, has on/off positions to be chosen with
a key. Designed for built-in or surfaced mounting, the switch is spark
proof according to SAE guidelines. Therefore it can safely be used in
vessels with petrol engines.
But simply using a battery switch does not guarantee batteries cannot
become discharged at the same time. Much better results can be achieved
by placing a battery isolator between the source and batteries. The
three or more diodes mounted inside isolate the charge current and
prevent it from re-circulating.
